Soon after the formation of the company, Carter Brothers signed a Strategic Alliance agreement with ADT Security Services, Inc. (ADT), to provide Installation Management services. Utilizing our processes and expertise, Carter Brothers supports ADT in the delivery of their commercial account installations.

The National Minority Supplier Diversity Council named Carter Brothers a Corporate Plus Member © in 2002. This designation signified our capacity and capabilities to provide products and services throughout the United States.

In 2004, Carter Brothers began acting as the “prime provider” to our customers in concert with ADT. Utilizing ADT’s presence in the market, and Carter Brothers’ ability to effectively deliver client’s expectations, our capacity and reputation within the market place grew. Carter Brothers provided full service facility security services that included security systems installations as well as construction activities including minor renovations, site work, gates, fencing and other facility activities.

In 2007, we acquired Edwards Service, a Fire Alarm services company, from GE Security and became a certified Strategic Partner to GE Security, with access to their full range of fire and security products. In June 2008 Carter Brothers signed a Strategic Alliance agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI), to develop a superior service program. This relationship creates expanded opportunities to provide clients with product and service capabilities throughout North America.
