As the Vice President, Finance & Accounting Merian L. Callaway is responsible for direction and oversight the organization's accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. She is also responsible for the direction and oversight of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Additionally, Merian has responsibility for the company's financial plans and policies, accounting practices, vendor relationship management with lending institutions as well as the financial community, maintenance of the company's fiscal records, and the preparation of all financial reports.

Merian L. Callaway, CFE, CPA began her accounting career at the firm of Gross, Collins & Cress, P.C. in 1991. Transitioning from public accounting, Merian worked in the commercial real estate industry, intellectual property market, aerospace and technology sector and safety and security industry. In addition, she has consulted for a varied collection of industry types performing a wide range of services.

Early in her career, Merian recognized the need for sole proprietors and entrepreneurs to develop sound financial policies and procedures to promote efficient operations and realize maximum profits in their business ventures. As a result, Merian founded Merian L. Callaway, CPA, LLC to provide business accounting and advisory services. Such services include business organization, start-up corporate financial development, accounting management, strategic planning, human resource management, procurement, operational analysis, tax services and forensic accounting.

As a non-traditional student, while being a homemaker with three children, Merian graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major.
